Love Is Greater is a Toledo-based, award-winning wedding photography team led by owner Stacey Carter. We offer wedding photography and wedding photo printing services.
Where are you located and how far will you travel?
Love Is Greater Photography is located in Toledo, Ohio. We love serving our Toledo couples, including couples from nearby Ohio cities like Perrysburg, Kelleys Island, Fremont, Bowling Green, Findlay, and Sandusky. We also love serving couples in neighboring Michigan cities like Ann Arbor, Adrian, Dearborn, Detroit and Jackson. Our team also loves to travel! Who will be at my wedding?
All of our wedding photography packages include at least one photographer, and most include two. There are an incredible number of benefits to having two photographers there on wedding day:
- You’ll receive more photos because we’ll have two cameras shooting instead of one
- We’re able to be in two places at once, so your gallery will reflect both the “main events” like you exchanging your vows and the reactions from your guests
- You can rest easy knowing that you’ll be covered by two pro photographers who can handle pretty much anything
Relationships are at the heart of what we do, and it’s important to us that we get to know each other before wedding day. You can expect to get to know your lead photographer well throughout the entire process, as they’ll be the one you correspond with most.
In the rare case that one of your photographers is suddenly unavailable to be there on your wedding day, another skilled photographer from our team will take their place. This is one of the many benefits of working with Love Is Greater Photography — you are working with a team, so you’re always covered!
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Absolutely. We believe that building a relationship with our couples is the most important part of wedding photography, which is why we offer a complimentary engagement session with every wedding photography package. During the engagement session, you’ll get to know your photographer and start getting comfortable in front of the camera. Getting to know our clients on a personal level during the engagement session really helps to strengthen the wedding day experience.
I loved working with you, but my wedding is over. Can I hire you again?
Absolutely! We pride ourselves on building really strong relationships with our couples, and we hope to stay in your lives! Please give us a call when you have a baby, want to celebrate your anniversary, or gather for a family reunion — we’d be honored to work with you again!
What kind of photography equipment do you use?

Do you edit all of your photographs?
Yes. While many photographers only edit the gallery images you select, Love Is Greater Photography skillfully edits each photo in your gallery so they’re all ready to be shared, posted, and printed. Our signature editing style is natural, with a true-to-eye color palette. It’s important to us that your images last a lifetime, which is why we don’t use trendy filters or presets.
How many images will we receive?
That’s a hard question, because every wedding is different. Depending on the wedding party, the length of your wedding, and how many formal portraits you request, the number of photos in the final gallery can vary dramatically. However, on average, the standard wedding day with two photographers produces around 600–800 images.
How long does it take before we receive our wedding photos?
We’re just as excited to see your final images as you are, so our editors work crazy-fast to deliver your wedding day images within our four week guaranteed timeline (that’s at least two weeks faster than your average photographer, BTW). Past clients will tell you, though, that we love to beat our own record and deliver your gallery even sooner. #HumbleBrag
How much does wedding photography cost? What is your payment schedule for a wedding?

We understand that every wedding has a budget and we try to make the investment easier for you by offering payment plans. Our most popular payment plan involves a 20% non-refundable deposit due at contract signing, and then two remaining payments of 40% each. Your entire bill is due two weeks prior to wedding day.
When should we book Love Is Greater for our wedding photography?
As soon as you’ve booked your venue, it’s time to book a photographer! Wedding dates fill up quickly, often a year in advance, and our small team has limited capacity. What happens during a consultation?
Photography — especially wedding photography — is a relationship business. So a free consultation with us is kinda like a first date — we get to know each other, learn more about each other, and start building a relationship. We are storytellers first and foremost, and we need to know you to tell your story.
One thing that we don’t expect to happen during a consultation? Signing a contract. Even if we are vibing really well, we still encourage our couples to go home and think about it before booking us. Don’t forget that we’ll be your shadow come wedding day, so this is a big decision. It’s important to us that you’re head-over-heels in love with our team and our work before you sign on the dotted line.
